Tooth-Colored Fillings
Most small cavities can be treated with a tooth-colored filling. This is a simple and fast way to treat spots of decay and prevent them from worsening. All we have to do is prepare the tooth, insert a color-matched resin, and harden it with a special curing light. Tooth-colored fillings blend in seamlessly with the surrounding dentition.
Dental Crowns
We may recommend that you receive a dental crown, which is a custom tooth-shaped “cap” that we place over the entire visible portion of a tooth. A crown can protect the tooth from additional harm while also restoring its strength and function. We favor crowns made of zirconia and Emax, which look almost identical to natural tooth enamel and are very durable.
